Kodo Millet Upma

Ingredients - 

  •  1 cup TID Presoaked Kodo Millet
  •  Chopped onions, green chillies, carrot, beans, potato, ginger
  •  Mustard seeds, blackgram dal, bengal gram dal, curry leaves, water, oil

Instructions -

  1.  Wash millet thoroughly and drain.
  2.  Finely chop vegetables and grate ginger.
  3. Heat oil in pressure cooker, add mustard seeds, dals, curry leaves, green chillies.
  4. Add onions, ginger, turmeric and sauté till golden.
  5. Add vegetables and sauté, then add millet.
  6. Add water, salt, and cook for 3 whistles.
  7. Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
